A Letter from Danielle for July ’25
Hi Everyone,
I love July—it’s full-on summer wherever you are, with two whole months to find time to relax and take a break in the warm weather!!! And the July 4th holiday is a great celebratory send-off for the summer!! Memorial Day weekend is the promise of what’s to come, but July 4th is a promise delivered!!! With picnics and parties and fireworks, and summer plans laid out—fishing, swimming, sports, and lying in a hammock or on a deck chair and reading. And it is a great time to catch up on the books you haven’t read yet. I take a week’s vacation with my younger children every year, which I look forward to all year and so do they. And I love the food at July 4th picnics: burgers and Southern Fried chicken and apple pie!!!
We have new books for you to read on the beach, or lying under a tree, dreaming. A Mother’s Love has an element of suspense to it, and healing from the past and from childhood memories. It’s my new hardcover that came out at the end of June. And Triangle is a suspense story that comes out in paperback at the end of July. It’s a perfect time to stash them in your beach bag and catch up.
I hope you have some wonderful summer plans that you’re excited about, to discover new places and adventures, or return to familiar summer locations you love. We all need to unwind, and even if you can’t manage a whole vacation this year and get the time off, even a long weekend can feel like a whole holiday so you can disconnect and relax. There is something so appealing about time off in warm weather. Spoil yourself and have fun!!! And I hope you love the new books!!!
Love,
Danielle
