A Note from Danielle for June ’14
Dear Friends,
June officially marks the beginning of summer, my favorite days, when hopefully life is less pressured and you get a vacation. In France, by law, people get five weeks’ vacation, and everyone takes it in July or August, so there is a real holiday atmosphere as summer begins. In the States, people take their vacations all through the year, and usually not for as long. I loved it when my kids were all out of school, which wasn’t very long ago. Now they’re all working, but we still get together for a holiday in the summer, which is wonderful.
I hope your summer is off to a great start and that you’ll have some time off to relax and read!
