Dear Friends,

September is one of my favorite months, and always a busy one for me. When I had nine kids at home, getting everyone organized to go back to school was a MAJOR event, with shopping for new shoes, uniforms, and school supplies; medical check-ups; first days of school and adjusting to new teachers and subjects. It was a whirlwind at our house. It’s much quieter now. But I still love that feeling of ‘newness’—starting life off with a fresh notebook, and all new supplies. And for me, I go back to writing in September, if I don’t sneak back before that. This month usually finds me deep into my latest book, and autumn is off and running. It’s back to school for me, too, even now!
