Hi Everyone,

I hope the summer is rolling out well and you’re having fun, taking some time off and enjoying family and friends!! Hot weather, good times, maybe some swimming and sunning, fishing—whatever seems like fun to you. I love reading in the summer when I take time off from writing for a few weeks.

I have been in and out of some breathtaking heat waves in the last couple of weeks. Some record-breaking temperatures (without air conditioning!!!), and I was working on a book in dizzying heat but managed to get through it, though slower than usual!!!

I’m so excited about my new book coming out later this August! It’s a suspenseful novel about the dark side of motherhood. Zoe is determined to be the perfect mother . . . but a tragedy from her past begins to unravel her—and brings her and her child to the edge of an abyss too terrifying to contemplate. I can’t wait for you to read it!!
